Installing Custom Firmware On Your 2DS / 3DS

Installing custom firmware on your 2DS / 3DS console is now becoming easier and easier, but you will have to know the best possible way to achieve it without messing with your console. I have put a lot of tutorial on my Youtube channel, but this page will group it all. First you will have to know which stock firmware are running on your console. Is it on 11.4 or below it. All the video guide is based on the guide on 3ds.guide.

Stock firmware 9.0 - 11.3 

If you have a 2DS / 3DS console running stock firmware 9.0 - 11.3 then you should follow the step below. 

STEP 1 :

Installing A9LH (Arm9loaderhax) step will ensure you have a stock backup nand before installing custom firmware so this is just a precaution step.

STEP 2 :

After you have successfully installed custom firmware on your console with Arm9loaderhax, it is time to update your console to Boot9strap. This will enable you to update the Luma3DS to the latest version

Stock firmware 11.4

If you have a 2DS or 3DS running stock firmware 11.4, then the best method to install custom firmware is to use hard mod method. This maybe not for everyone but at least it doesn't require you to have a second console to install the custom firmware.
